The 5/6 students at TMC have been registered for the Student Vote program for the upcoming federal election. Student Vote is a parallel election for students under the voting age, coinciding with federal, provincial, territorial and municipal elections. The purpose is to provide young Canadians with an opportunity to experience the voting process firsthand and build the habits of informed and engaged citizenship.
The students are very excited and feel privileged to have these very busy leaders take the time to meet with them during their full schedules. We look forward to learning more about these candidates as the students prepare to vote along with over 700,000 other students across Canada.
